Welcome to the web site for the village of Badger, Shropshire. We hope you find it a useful source of information, whether you're a villager or visitor. Badger is a small rural hamlet on the eastern edge of Shropshire not far from the county's border with Staffordshire. Its origins as a settlement probably date back to Anglo Saxon times and later as a classic estate village with the Hall and Church at its centre. Today, Badger remains a small but thriving community with an active church, its own parish council and a population of around 140 people.
